Meeting Santa at Fairytale Farm

A couple of days before Christmas we went to a favourite place with my children, Fairytale Farm. We go here many times a year and have fun with the sensory activities, the outside playground and the farmyard animals to pet and feed.

On this day however we were there to meet the Big Man – Santa!!

After queuing up with the elf we were called in.

My elder child was quite chatty with him, making sure she specifically mentioned what she would like on Christmas morning.

My younger child though decided she was shy (she is NEVER shy!!) and inexplicably told him that she wanted a gift which had never been mentioned to us before! Cue a fast order and collection from our local Asda supermarket!!

After the Santa visit, we could spend time looking around the rest of the farm (I couldn’t quite manage looking round the animal area as it was so muddy. Most of my time walking with MS legs feels like I’m fighting against mud so I decided to skip that experience!).

The social distancing and one way system around the park worked well and didn’t take away any of the christmas time magic.

A complimentary mince pie and mulled wine rounded off a lovely vist.
